Even if I may not agree with all this gentleman's views or theology, he would appear to have an excellent collection of theological texts, for the rifling of: http://www.gty.org/~phil/hall.htm (Note: does his keen writing style and evident scholarship make his page easier to read? Or better to read? Should this influence our appreciation of his religious beliefs? Answers on a postcard.)

In other breaking news, I have a problem with my washing machine. There was wrath and bad language and hand-rinsing in the sink earlier. There will be phone calls to the plumber tomorrow. (I suppose I should be grateful -- no, I am grateful that it was a small (white) wash consisting of an undersheet and a few bits of underwear. Yes, I do my white washes separately, owing to certain vivid memories of my first few terms at university and coming home with various white pieces of clothing now an interesting shade of grey-beige. I believe my excuse (which didn't go very far) was "London grime".)

I was playing my Indigo Girls CDs earlier this evening. It's been a while since I listened to them, and I forgot how much I enjoyed some of their songs.
