the advances of science
Jul. 5th, 2012 02:12 amThe positive side of now having wireless connectivity at work is that now we can have more than one person bringing a laptop into a meeting room, without having to duel to the death (with chainsaws) to be the person who gets the network cable and can access the intranet.
The less positive side is that when we realised, prior to tomorrow's training session, that we could all bring our laptops with us, there was a sudden outbreak of "can I borrow your power connector cable?" due to the fact that we rarely all need to use them at the same time.
(I have no idea what happened to mine. I have a sneaking suspicion that one of my team members borrowed it a while ago and never gave it back, but, well, cannot prove it and am not sure it would really be helpful to try. Should probably put in a formal request for a new one.)
