While flipping through the television channels this evening, I saw something that I thought was called "Matriarchal Australia".

Unfortunately, on closer examination it turned out to be "Masterchef Australia", which was probably far less interesting.

(I ended up watching Mythbusters. Mythbusters is usually a safe bet.)

I must run round and do lots of stuff involving Christmas cards and presents. I need more hours in the day. Also more days in the week. And more weeks in the month, while we're at it.

OTOH, I do also now have a copy of the new Paul Cornell book, London Falling, which I look forward to reading once I'm through the Horatio Lyle books I'm currently immersed in. It may not be necessary to have lots of books to be happy, but it certainly helps.

I want a time-bubble. In the time-bubble, I could... Well, honestly, right now I'd settle for SLEEP. Sleeping 8 hours in 5 would be SOOOOO NIIIIICE.

Good luck with the runningaround!

I second this so very, very much.

Money may not buy happiness, but it does buy books, which is pretty close.

Enough money (in the millions here) also buys time. Though I'd bet even millionaires don't have enough time in December.

Masterchef Australia isn't bad - it's a lot friendlier than some of the other competitive cooking shows, and I get the impression that the judges are actually interested in the participants learning and growing as chefs.

That is, of course, if you're interested in watching cooking shows at all.

Agreed with the person above. I cancelled Sky today.. because MasterChef Australia has finished and it was the last reason we were keeping it.

Beware, it showed six hour-long episodes a week for uh, 3-4 months? MasterChef Australia, it is a major timesuck.
