I'm binging a bit (or is that bingeing?) on rereading Exalted books, some of which I wrote parts of. Self-indulgent but entertaining. Besides, I'm appreciating the bits that other people wrote as well. Honestly.

Apparently someone hit Nigel Farage (head of UKIP, feh) with an egg. I am generally against throwing eggs at politicians, on the grounds that it would probably be awkward if everyone started doing it to all politicians, but at the same time, Nigel Farage is the sort of politician whom I would like to see hit by eggs. A difficult moral principle to uphold when it's a politician you really dislike.

I'm against throwing eggs at politicians only because it would be a waste of a perfectly good egg.

Fair point. What a piece of dirt a politician must be, to cause a perfectly honest man to lower himself and forget his dignity so far as to bung an egg in his direction!
