incandescensWe had to attend a compulsory briefing session on the future of our organisation today.
... I managed to plan out a whole new quilt, complete with dimensions and fabrics!

archangelbeth. I was able to show them to the coworker for whose granddaughter the quilt is intended today, and she was very pleased with them, especially the Frozen one. Apparently her daughter is a big Frozen fan. Should be done by Christmas, or preferably well before then.)
There should be an announcement about my book tomorrow from Tor. I will be linking to it from all over the place. :)
But there is also work to be getting on with, and cross-mapping and SNOMED CT concepts and so on wait for no woman.
I did attend the Ben Aaronovitch signing today of his new book (Foxglove Summer), together with a coworker who also likes his work, which made a very nice lunchtime break. And if I hadn't already read the book, it would have made a very fretful afternoon as I yearned towards it in my bag. Fortunately I had already read it, so was somewhat immunised.
