in between drabbles
Apr. 26th, 2005 01:43 amI can't help but be tempted by a Japanese computer game (AnimaMundi) that purports to include Saint-Germain, the Black Tulip, Francis Dashwood, Gennai Hiraga, and Mephistopheles as characters. Very pretty ones, too. However, my lack of comprehension of the language would probably scupper all the good bits.
Good day today. Meetings tomorrow. Hopefully not overly long ones.
Drabble-writing is a nice change from the longer stuff. I'm now suffering from the urge to write more Holmes pastiches, possibly with crossovers. It's very hard to get Watson's style into just 100 words.

It's Dark in Here
I am writing these poems
From inside a lion,
And it's rather dark in here.
So please excuse the handwriting
Which may not be too clear.
But this afternoon by the lion's cage
I'm afraid I got too near.
And I'm writing these lines
From inside a lion,
And it's rather dark in here.
