Gah. Gah gah gah gah gah. Found income tax forms buried in my to-sort-out stack. Haven't missed formal deadline, just recommended deadline, and I suppose it could have been worse, but -- gah.

(kicks self multiple times)

Things otherwise okay. Work has kicked into moderately high gear again, so I'm being kept busy.

Digression: there's something which I enjoy in a very smug and self-satisfied way about making/catching references. In the 31_days community, today's theme was "astrology domine", which is the title of a Pink Floyd song involving (if I'm reading the lyrics correctly) water and ice and underground battles and similar. It gave me great pleasure to be able to tie that in a drabble to the Tarot card of The Moon and to two characters from a particular anime series who have water- or ice-associated attacks. Self-indulgent, but very satisfying.
