wanting more hours
Mar. 29th, 2007 01:36 amDid I mention that I want more hours in the day? I want more hours in the day.
I didn't have to attend a particular meeting today, as several people from the team were already there. I was spectacularly glad about this when it did some severe overrunning and even then all the stuff wasn't handled. On the other hand, I was doing indexing, which isn't the world's most interesting thing. Swings, roundabouts . . .
Still no latest chapter of Bleach. Drat.

The Purist
I give you now Professor Twist,
A conscientious scientist,
Trustees exclaimed, "He never bungles!"
And sent him off to distant jungles.
Camped on a tropic riverside,
One day he missed his loving bride.
She had, the guide informed him later,
Been eaten by an alligator.
Professor Twist could not but smile.
"You mean," he said, "a crocodile."
