the rain it raineth all the day

Back on the job again today.

Work was busy, and outside it was wet. Not really wet compared to all those people who have had huge thunderstorms and whatnot, but constantly wet all through yesterday and through most of today, and quite possibly through tomorrow as well. Local transport services were disrupted in places, and one coworker couldn't make it in at all. (Okay, possibly she could have if she'd really tried, but a day off was easier to negotiate.) Fortunately (for some values of the word) I live only fifteen minutes walk from work, so have no excuse at all not to attend. Isn't that nice.

Must remember to phone home on Sunday.

New Doctor Who tomorrow. I quiver with anticipation.
