"I've almost finished those fingerless gloves for you."

"Hey, cool -- wait, that's not what I meant. Look. Hakkai. Um . . ."

Hakkai stopped knitting, folded his hands, and looked up expectantly.

"Look, I think the wool stuff is way cool. Good hobby. It's great that it lowers your blood pressure and keeps you calm and everything. But about the wool . . ."

"Yes?"

"You need to find some place to put it that isn't Jiipu's back seat before we all suffocate."

"It's a pity that you weren't Chosen by the Dragons," the Roseblack commented over breakfast. "Are you sure that you don't have one of the bloodlines somewhere in your family tree? My advisors say that there are ways to encourage an Exaltation, and you're still young enough that it might be possible . . ."

"I think it's very unlikely," Ace said diplomatically.

"A shame," the Roseblack sighed. "Ah well. We can make you the showpiece of how ordinary humans and the Chosen of the Dragons work together."

Ace put down her coffee. "That's very political."

"That's how it is," the Roseblack shrugged.

Have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow about my ears, which will hopefully see them sorted out; so, good in the long term, but I'm not actually looking forward to the short term experience.

Work continues to be hectic. No surprise there.

hoggwarts is a super skool where they diskard wet and weedy muggle subjekts such as fr. lat. geog. ect. and insted learn to make potions and LEVITATE. Rather than foopball the eager students pla QUIDDITCH and fli about on broomsticks wizz, and to everybode's grate surprise hary turn out to be a natural Seker so in some respekts the skool story hav not changed.

There is also a baddy in the shape of lord VOLDEMORT, an evil wizzard who want to kill pore hary, three BULIES called malfoy, crab and goyl and a DRAGON. All in all it is much like my dere alma mater st custards only more xciting and with better food.

By now we hav herd the chimes at midnite (shakspere) and the dorm is filled with the swete snores of my fellow inmates. i am longing to find out how hary, ron and hermoine unmask the villan but the book slip from my weary grasp and suddenly i am aslepe and having a most peculiar DREME...
