irritating

Marvellous. The saga of the debit card is not yet finished (see two days ago): I now need to have a new card. Don't worry, says my building society, it should be with you by Tuesday next week.

This really, really is not a good time of year to have to make purchases via cash and not be able to use a card in cash machines or shops. I can manage, but it is going to mean a bit more planning and less advance work than I'd wanted.

Orthopaedic Workshop QAing is almost finished; phew. It's been interesting, but other work has been piling up while we were doing it.

Memo to self: person in office who I drew in the Secret Santa likes white wine. Right. That we can do.
