back in the jug agane
Feb. 19th, 2008 02:00 amWork not too bad. The most irritating thing was coming in to find that there had been a move-around of desks and that I had been moved with it. On the positive side, they'd left my computer connected up in the new location, so I didn't need to crawl round on the floor trying to find the right sockets; and also, the new location is much nicer than the old one, no longer being right next to the very noisy printer, or out in the middle next to the main walk-through area where everyone can see my monitor screen all the time.
So on the whole, a bonus.
I brought in some ginger cake from Betty's (a very good cake shop/tearoom) and that made the morning pleasanter for all of us.

One: Have the characters get into all sorts of shenanigans on a regular basis. Two: Always remember that the integrity of your universe's reality must be maintained unless you think of something cool. Three: Have Chekhov get really old.
