getting there

Coworker and I managed to hit the first phase of our deadline on time, and are consequently now feeling very smug. Now we just have to manage the rest of it.

I wish losing weight didn't involve time, effort, and snacking less.

The weather continues cool for July. I've decided to just appreciate it: I'm sure I'll be complaining enough when it starts to get hotter.

I have been one acquainted with the night.
I have walked out in rain -- and back in rain.
I have outwalked the furthest city light.

I have looked down the saddest city lane.
I have passed by the watchman on his beat
