the Friday before Christmas
Dec. 20th, 2008 02:16 amThe number of people at work today who are going to be taking next Monday to Wednesday off before Christmas . . . I'm torn between jealousy, and slight smugness that (a) I will myself be taking the period between Christmas and the New Year off, (b) just think of how nice and quiet the office will be for the first few days of next week. I can get my cross-mapping done in peace.
Far too much shopping to do tomorrow. Will not go to York. Will just do shopping here. Will maybe go to York in the new year and hope for sales.
