a satisfying day
Nov. 27th, 2011 03:01 amThe Knitting and Stitching Show was excellent, as usual. (Well, this is my third year of going to it in Harrogate.) Got several things I was specifically looking for, and a number of things I wasn't specifically looking for but was very happy to find. It ended at 5.30pm. I was busy buying a last couple of jelly rolls (strips of fabric: "since I'm buying two, do I get a discount?") at 5.25pm. Heh.
Rather tired afterwards, but that is to be expected.
I do believe that it is the first Sunday in Advent tomorrow. I am therefore going to start letting myself sing Christmas carols and play them on iTunes. Excellent.
On a slightly more irritating note, the local pub has cancelled the "craft fair" they were going to have in their back courtyard next Saturday, where I was going to try and sell some stuff. On the positive side, it cuts down on the amount of pre-Christmas things I need to do. So I shall try to be positive.

Good grief, it's a triceratops! Look Brigadier, try and keep it occupied while I'm finishing this off, will you?
