I ought to be more grateful when the local fabric shops don't have anything new that I want to get, or anything that's so good a bargain it would be a crime not to get. I should look at my large stash of fabric, and remind myself that I need to use it. I should be making definitive plans about how to use some of it. I should be sorting it into colours (or at least into dark, light, and medium) and organising it.
In other news, didn't buy any new fabric today. Sigh.

‘That’s not a very detailed plan.’ But Kai wasn’t complaining, simply resigned.
‘There have been times when I had detailed plans,’ Irene said wistfully. ‘I look back at them and wonder why I never realized how lucky I was.’
