if I could turn back time
Sep. 18th, 2016 02:08 amThe Brexit situation just gets more and more depressing. I wish I could turn the clock back and somehow adjust the vote to Remain - even if it did mean that we still had Cameron as prime minister.
Though personally speaking, I had quite a nice day today in York, wandering around and doing some shopping. It's so convenient having York and Harrogate as nearby towns which I can visit as a treat with minimal effort (30-45 minutes by train, only about 10-15 pounds for a cheap day return). It's a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday.
I got a look at some of the upcoming Lush stuff for Halloween/Christmas. They'll be bringing back a couple of the shower gels which I particularly like, so thumbs up there.

“And you,” Ya Yu said, focusing her gaze on Kai. “Youngest son of the Dragon King of the Eastern Ocean. I trust that you will present my compliments to your father when next you see him.” As Kai bowed again, she added, “I also hope to see your mother in the future. She has always been an ornament to any court she visits, and a vital force upon our frontiers.”
Out of the corner of her eye, Irene saw both Jin Zhi and Qing Song freeze into the immobility of people who have opinions vastly contrary to the ones currently being expressed, but who can’t possibly say so in public without ruining themselves. Can’t go round calling him “low-born” in public if the Queen herself approves of his mother, can you?
