I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year

Quiet day at work, mostly busy with frequent pauses for nibbles. Most of the team sloped off at 2pm - I stayed a little longer, because there was something I wanted to work on, but I could have gone if I'd wanted.

And then I came home and did some wrapping and packing.

Main irritation of the evening was getting my big drag-along bag mostly packed, then realising that it was oriented the wrong way round - which wouldn't be so big an issue in itself, as I'd taken care to pad everything well (there are benefits to bringing knitting supplies along with me), but was an issue when it came to the two bottles which I'd intended to carefully arrange near the bottom and lying flat, or pointing upwards if the bag was raised for dragging, but which were now located near the top and pointing downwards when bag is in dragging mode. This necessitated taking everything out and repacking, since I had got them near the bottom and had been inserting plenty of clothing/yarn/etc throughout for padding.

Oh well. If this is the worst / most annoying thing that happens over today and tomorrow, then I'm ahead of the game.
