luckily the coffee arrived at lunchtime

3 weeks and a couple of days till I go on holiday. Not that I'm counting the days or anything.
Got a new piece of baggage today at the local TK Maxx (well, you can find good stuff there if you take a bit of time to look), and it looks nice and functional and effective. Must also get stuff like dollars and presents. Must make a list. Lists are wonderful things for fostering panic.
Work ran out of coffee this morning. I went down to ask when we'd be getting a refill jar (we have some so-so Kenco stuff provided, which is not brilliant, but is better than the bottom end of the market), and was told that they were expecting the new stuff to turn up any minute now. Was obviously, from their tone, not the first person to have asked this question. Returned upstairs after rifling the guest stock in the communal area for a few sachets of coffee. Commented to coworker that the place was unusually quiet, no doubt due to caffeine withdrawal and everyone on the verge of falling asleep. Probably not accurate, but it was a nice image.
Must decide what anime and which Phoenix Wright games to take with me to show archangel. Heh. Must also go through my djs to see if/which I can sacrifice to the swap meet.

Villanelle (minimalist): One Drunken Night
I think
she'll pour
my drink.
I wink
at more,
I think,
than minx
who pours
my drink.
I sink
to floor,
and think
she stinks!
I roar,
"My drink,
you fink!"
I snore,
and think
I drink.
