...Ukitake/Kyouraku? Emphasis on the pairing order. And maybe something with Renji?
(I'm so predictable. Y'know, I was very intrigued by an Onmyouji/Sherlock Holmes crossover you did aways back. And I await the conclusion of the Library, so I can read it and grok in fullness.)
Hmm. I should reciprocate, but I can't post the meme as I have shitloads of stuff to write that have deadlines. -_- But for you, in return for years of ficky goodness, I will permit a reciprocal "You should write", if you want. I have no idea what fandoms you're into that I share right now, except Avatar and Bleach...
I would absolutely love to read anything you wrote set in either Avatar or Bleach (particularly Bleach), but am also very much looking forward to buying your published works, so don't want to take your time away from those. ;)
Well, there was the "read or die" one in the recent update set -- or do you mean Ukitake/Kyouraku & Renji too?
(I have no problem with Ukitake/Kyouraku, and have in fact mostly seen it as "whoever wants to be on top at the time", but that Ukitake tends to be lazy and lie back and let Kyouraku do the work. :))
I promise I am working on the Library! It's just being slow. I'm at around 65K at the moment. I look forward to being able to wave it under your nose happily.
To clarify -- I tend to think of both of them as, er, ambidextrous, so to speak. But specifically it's your sneakilyseductive!Ukitake that I love. I rather like seeing him go after Nanao, but you already have one like that. But I'm not sure I ever saw Ukitake target Kyouraku at some point where he's distracted/disinterested. (Kyouraku, despite his rabbitlike tendencies, is human; there *have* to be times when he's disinterested. Somehow. Sometime.)
I'm sure of it.
Ukitake, Kyouraku, and Renji together was not something I'd thought of. ...Though I am now. ::eyes glaze:: Though I imagine Byakuya would have something to say about that...
I have actually got half an idea for a story that I have yet to write, though it is possibly more hurt/comfort: it involves Kyouraku coming down with food poisoning of some sort and being delirious, and Ukitake having to sit by his bedside to keep an eye on him. But seducing him, hm. Let me think about that. :)
(You may have seen talk about the just-started anime filler arc in which various people's zanpakutou materialise in human form. Kyouraku's appears to have materialised as a woman. Dressed in the classical oiran (courtesan) style. Ukitake's is a pair of little boys in Heian costumes. This could be amusing.)
Though I imagine Byakuya would have something to say about that...
Nonsense, he'll just seduce Renji right back . . . hm, that could be stiff competition.
