Date: 2010-02-10 08:01 pm (UTC)I love all three of you. Really.
May I ask you for a permission to translate Winter War for Russian-speaking Bleach fandom? I simply can't allow myself to be greedy and enjoy it alone ^_^
Thank you again and best regards!

Well, better late than... late? I'm truly slow this year...
Date: 2010-10-07 12:43 am (UTC)I must thank you again - personally and on behalf of Russian-speaking readers, too - they really like the series and they also send thanks and praises to all three of you ^_^
I'm terribly, terribly sorry for being SO late with this, but I swear i didn't mean any harm ^_^

Date: 2010-05-01 06:13 am (UTC)A special mention I'd like to give here is the way you fleshed out Sasakibe. I think your stories show more of him than what is revealed in the actual series, which is a good thing, since I'm very curious on as to what he can offer to the series. Good job on giving the spotlight to the side characters and I can see the irony in allowing Ukitake to live on and take command, seeing as he was much physically weaker than the other (dead) captains.
Thanks for posting a great series. The suspense is nail-biting, so I hope you update soon.
(I was supposed to sign up for LJ just to post a comment and let you know how I feel, but I suddenly remembered I made an account so many decades ago. So don't bother looking at my account- it's long dead anyway.)

Date: 2010-06-14 04:27 pm (UTC)The irony was pretty solid when we started that way with Ukitake, and I've always wanted to know more about how Sasakibe would work if given the spotlight. It's been great fun.
Thanks for the lovely comment!

Date: 2010-08-12 09:14 am (UTC)I am a lifelong lurker by habit, one of those horrible readers who never reviews no matter how much I love the story.
I'm reviewing.I'm pretty sure I would do dangerous, dirty, dark things for the next installment to be delivered into my waiting hands this moment.
Really, I cannot wait for more, this is so beyond wonderful :)

Date: 2011-11-01 02:39 pm (UTC)All caught up!
Date: 2011-11-02 01:58 am (UTC)I just love everything about what the three of you have done and continue to do. Though I am most familiar with inlandescens's work (which earned a Favorite over on fanfiction.net), I've come to respect all three of you for how high you each consistently set the bar. I've read some great Bleach stories since joining the throng of fans, but no one manages to keep me on the edge of my seat quite like you three. And it's not just the suspense either. The combination of riveting fights scenes, gut punches, shots of humor, sobriety and duty in the face of loss, keeping track of a dozen different threads as they weave and wind in every conceivable direction...I can't quite say how baffled I am that.
For instance, I was almost annoyed to see the narrative cut to Iba and company's defense of the mansion's rear when so much was going on elsewhere, but it all came together so quickly that, in hindsight, I probably would have felt cheated if it happened entirely off-screen. I suppose it helps to have three separate pairs of eyes keeping stock of everything, but I also know how collaborations can go south in a hurry when everyone has different ideas. That you've made such a great story is one thing. That it has stayed great is quite another. I've seen so many narratives burn out due to inattention or poor plotting, but Winter War continues to rise in my estimation like a star in the sky.
Re: All caught up!
Date: 2011-11-02 02:27 pm (UTC)We consult with each other a lot while working on it, and do have a vague structure that we roughed out in the first place. We also do hope to finish it eventually, so there will be a resolution ... :)
Thank you again for your kind comments! They are very encouraging and greatly appreciated.
