Had a very nice time in Harrogate today. The bead fair was good -- among other things, I got some dyed kunzite, which is a pretty shade of purple. Unfortunately it doesn't go with zoicite (which is dark green with occasional flashes of red), even if thematically one might feel that it should. Ah well.
I'm thinking of sleeping in tomorrow with great enthusiasm.

b) the people walking by that might buy anything if it catches their fancy.
c) the people specifically looking for bargains.
Putting out some of their back stock which they haven't been able to move otherwise at a reduced price . . . well, it attracts (c) and possibly (b) as well. And once people are buying, they might go for the more expensive things too!
