incandescensThe installation was definitely enjoyable. Light effects, sound effects, strange tableaux, dancers, and all of it set among these dark Victorian arches in the tunnels, with a bridge across several tunnels worth of river . . . Definitely inspiring. Surreal, with that undertone of "meaning" that you can't quite identify but are left feeling the weight of. I'm sure I can think of some way to use it.
Picked up a copy of Diablo 3 at lunch break today. It's mine! All mine! Even if I didn't play it tonight because I want to be up early tomorrow morning to catch the train to the quilt show.
Where I will do my bit to support the economy. I feel so virtuous.

This piece (or, to use its alternate title, Disco Inferno), documents the tragic descent of the young Hinamori Momo into the deviant practice of disco dancing. Led on by the older Aizen Sousuke, whose apparent gentleness conceals astonishing prowess on the dance floor, and threatened by the rival challenger Ichimaru Gin (the Silver Fox, known for his lame glitter bodysuit), she finds herself up before the most dangerous of judges for the final confrontation, where she must boogie for her life and soul. Who will survive? Who will pay for the drinks at the bar afterwards?
