weird linkages
Jun. 14th, 2012 01:17 amI was reading Ben Aaronovitch's blog (at Temporarily Significant) and noticed a reference in the entry for May 9th, about Christine Blum, who translated Rivers of London and Moon over Soho into German.
She's the Christine Blum who's part of the music pair Summer & Fall. Whom I picked up a CD of (Last Sunny Day) last year, when I ran into one of their songs up for an award (the Die Puppen song - here's an English translation).
archangelbeth, you may remember me sharing that CD with you?
Lovely music.
And what a neat coincidence.

There once lived a girl in the land of Brabant,
seven brothers and sisters, and often alone,
who found in the attic, where none ever went,
a box full of dolls made of colourful stone...
