I don't know if it's just me, but the bits in Act III of Diablo 3 where you're travelling through Hell (or at least, outposts of Hell on earth), and you can see the great fiery chasms beyond the walkway you're on, and the huge chained figures deeper in the fires, and they shift position to look at you . . .

Severely creepy. Well done, Blizzard.

I haven't played Diablo 2 but I think I hit a moment of creep in Diablo 1 once things started getting really hellish; this one sounds even better.

Diablo 3 may not exactly be a huge new development in gaming, but I am finding it a lot of fun to play.

Those giants make me sad more than anything, since apparently they're called the Flayed, because the other demons keep them chained and flay them alive, continually. Their skin is used to make . . . pretty much everything the demons use.

But yes, they are just a wee bit creepy as well.
