Had fantastic time at the quilt show. Got most of the things that I was specifically looking for (some more batting, some backing fabric to specifically match a quilt top, etc) and a number of other things as well. Also checked in on the British Wool Weekend, which happened to be taking place in the exhibition hall just next door, and which had some very nice examples of British wool (which apparently includes llama these days), blends thereof, spinning thereof, carding thereof, etc. Didn't actually buy anything in there, but it was fun to look around.

And the weather ranged from reasonable to nice.

And I got back in time for the first episode of the new season of Doctor Who, which was entertaining if not brilliant. But then again, what's wrong with entertaining? Nothing at all.

S: One does have to wonder how the Librarians would react to the Twilight Saga.

I: Probably there are at least a couple of Librarians who have enjoyed studying and analysing it in different worlds and comparing it to other versions. Tragically, they can only talk to each other about it, as nobody else wants to hear about it. (And their apprentices, of course. Part of an apprentice's life is having to feign interest while your mentor rants about his/her favoured literary topics.)

One of these days, on the distant day that I get you to visit the UK, I will make sure to do it to coincide with one of the big craft shows, so that I can take you along. ;)
