So I've been playing Devil Survivor Overclocked on my lovely new Nintendo DS3 XL. In the interests of making it easier for myself, I'd decided to play the most straightforward route on my first play through the game, so that I could tackle the harder routes with the benefits of "new game plus" bonuses. Said most straightforward route involves trying to break the lockdown that's part of the game's plot, and simply escape, rather than trying to resolve the matter.

I've reached the point when I'm going to have to tell the other characters in the game that we're about to selfishly escape and abandon all other hopes/plans. I feel almost guilty.

"It's pretty silly, all this fuss about dogs," he said austerely. The offensiveness of the young left Thatcher untouched, but he resented the implication that he too belonged to an elite which would infinitely prefer to have a good solid discussion of the management problems at Raytheon.

He fixed his companion with a baleful eye. "Young man," he said in a voice which had intimidated brash graduates of many a professional school -- although, to be honest, a brash young veterinarian had yet to come his way -- "when you are a good deal older and wiser, you will realize that no event which makes adults feel this good is silly."

The management at Verizon would probably be more... amusing... to discuss than Raytheon's, from what little I know of them... (They were both companies who'd acquired BBN at one point or another.)
