rather good in both ways

I would have got more done this evening if I had not procured a copy of Kate Griffin's latest book, The Glass God. A very pleasantly spent evening. An excellent read.

Also pleased because a stranger actually bought a set of my postage stamp fridge magnets on my etsy store. Not that it's not fantastic when someone I know buys something, but when a total stranger buys something from my store... even better.

Oh dear. A new Kate Griffin. Shall do 'should I shouldn't I' until it comes out in paperback.

I think it is out in paperback already - trade paperback, that is. (I ended up buying it on Kindle, but that was because neither of the two local bookshops had it in. I did try them first!)

If it was Matthew I might buy it in trade, but the other series I'm willing to wait for the small light portable mass-markets, since I'm not even sure I'm keeping her.

Fair enough. I have to admit that having books on Kindle rather than taking up physical space does have some advantages...
