brain locked and loaded
May. 20th, 2014 02:11 amAcquired the new Paul Cornell, The Severed Streets, at the local Waterstones. Acquired the new Melissa Scott, Fair's Point, via Kindle. Well, that's me sorted for the next few days.
My left knee is being a little painful. I don't know why, but I wish it wouldn't. Should probably sign up for some sort of regular local exercise, bah.
Oh, and Mark of Mark Reads has just started to watch Revolutionary Girl Utena. This should be interesting.

Danger Will Robinson!
Date: 2014-05-20 02:01 am (UTC)The Scott can counterbalance the Cornell if necessary, which is good. I'm never sure how guys will react to Utena, though IME they do tend to see Touga as the dweeb he is and not as a heart throb. Then again, my experience was all with gay guys.

Date: 2014-05-20 01:30 pm (UTC)I will try to take things carefully. I should also get new arch supports - my current pair is approaching the end of their working life, and may already have passed it. (I have lifelong flat feet. Another reason why I avoid high heels.) I'm fairly sure that flat feet can result in knee problems, so I'm wondering if this is the causative factor here.
