Spent much of the evening making plot amendments on book 2 and noting that I need to cut down on description. It's amazing how hard it can be to justify something which seemed perfectly logical at the time.
Research item review meeting at work today went quite well. Not ideally (which would have been "thank you, everything is perfect, no more to be done, bye bye") but still quite well. So the day could have been a lot worse.
