I am in that mental state where I don't really want to have a cold (and probably don't, though my nose is a trifle dry and blocked) but do vaguely wish that I had an excuse of sufficient illness not to go into work tomorrow.

Common sense does point out that I don't want to be ill and wouldn't want to be ill enough not to go into work. Personal inclination just wishes that I had an excuse.

No real issue, to be honest. Just that it's about to be Friday, and I'm looking forward to the weekend and sleeping in.
