incandescensI had a pleasant excursion to York today. Got the immediate shopping needs out of the way, then wandered around, observed the Viking display, visited the knitting shops, had tea and cake at Betty's, etcetera. Very enjoyable.
Am also very pleased to find out that the set of bits of fabric which I planned to cut up (part of a sample set, obtained as a group at a quilt show) give just a few more than the number of pieces I need for the offset brick pattern of the size that i was planning. So very convenient!
