It's the weekend which includes the Leeds Festival and the August bank holiday. Therefore it rains. The sort of rain which has one looking out of the window and being unspeakably grateful that one isn't in a tent outside. The sort of rain which has sensible campers wearing wellington boots, and then coming into Leeds to buy stuff and walking all over the wet pavements with mud-encrusted wellington boots and leaving chunks of mud behind on the wet pavement.

The sort of rain which descends while one is dragging the grocery shopping home, and results in a rapid change of clothing once one gets home. It could have been worse. At least the rain didn't get into any of the food which could be affected by it - bread, etc.

Whether or not I go out for healthy exercise (and maybe a tiny bit of Pokemon Go) tomorrow will definitely depend on the weather. Healthy lifestyles are wonderful things to aim at, but I don't feel like getting soaked again, and walking with an umbrella to keep the heavy rain off just isn't that much fun.

I was considering how upper-class dragons would appreciate the rain. Presumably from under a canopy or through a window: it might be pleasant on scales, but it wouldn't be much good on silk robes or parchment.

Sorry I wasn't chatting more -- I was doing the event with 6 characters, paired with spouse's characters, and thus trying to zoom through them as fast as possible.
