incandescensPicked up new contact lenses today; will see how the world looks on Monday.
Hm. Did some shopping, but not very much. Acquired new Saiyuki manga (vol 1 of translation) -- the thing is, I can't comment on how accurate the translation is without actually being able to translate it. But it feels good. Must dig out Kodansha lessons book.
Played Mylene Farmer CD, got 3 paragraphs written. Life begins to get back into normal tenor.
Nearly made tea with water from kettle while kettle was being descaled. My father pointed out that he had left the descaler packet prominently near the kettle. My excuse, such as it was, was that I'd just come in and really needed that tea (or coffee). Still, good thing he heard me turn the kettle on.
