Jun. 12th, 2003 01:25 amAs usual, the day after having a sudden burst of enthusiasm/inspiration for a piece of fiction, one is suddenly empty on the subject. So I translate sea serpents instead. There is something to be said for having access to underwater mineral deposits, sunken plate fleets, and the like. I suspect Nauru is even wealthier than the Red Dragon, and that's saying something.
If the consultants get themselves into gear and do some dictation of spell summaries, and if the secretaries get themselves into gear and do some typing out of same, and both do it fast, I might be able to squeak this month's contracting past without too many problems. Otherwise it's going to be one of those "descending on piles of casenotes with a notebook and a hopeful expression" situations. Oh well. At least there is coffee.
