The day was full of hauling data (yo ho heave ho, wide the river, ho heave ho, deep the flowing water, ho heave ho, my, that was a while ago) and passed. Eventually.

Must check up on flu shots. Must remember to donate blood next week. Must get flu shot afterwards.

Coworker in office is observing Ramadan. I'm trying not to eat a lot of snacks while in her presence during the day, but it's hard.

Have GetBackers idea, but have put it to one side because I don't yet know enough about the series, and I'd hate to develop a decent idea to then find it contradicted by canon all down the line.

(And speaking of manga and anime, get your finger out, Minekura -- we want to know the end of Saiyuki Gaiden and we want a juicy plotline in Saiyuki proper. ASAP. If you don't mind.)

little black sheep that have gone astray

Since everyone's doing it, oh the sheep that I am.

You know, this says far more about what we think of ourselves than it does about anything else.

SEPTEMBER:
Suave and compromising. Careful, cautious and organized. Likes to point out people's mistakes. Likes to criticize. Stubborn. Quiet but able to talk well. Calm and cool. Kind and sympathetic. Concerned and detailed. Loyal but not always honest. Does work well. Very confident. (You have to be joking.) Sensitive. Thinking generous. Good memory. Clever and knowledgeable. Loves to look for information. Must control oneself when criticizing. Able to motivate oneself. (I'm fairly sure that "well, if it actually interests me" doesn't make an entire rule of thumb.) Understanding. Fun to be around. (Very variable.) Secretive. Loves sports, leisure and traveling. (Leisure, certainly. Travelling, at times. Sports -- er, you have to be joking.) Hardly shows emotions. Tends to bottle up feelings. Very choosy, especially in relationships. Systematic.
