end of the work week
Mar. 11th, 2005 04:26 pmMy stikfa figures on my computer are doing an excellent job of acting as an icebreaker at work. This is good.
First week at work here in Leeds now pretty much over, and has gone reasonably smoothly. I can cope with this, I think.
Current writing project at 15/22K done. Must add more horrible weirdness.
Located/shopped at local Chinese supermarkets last night, after finding them on the internet. Excellent. And now I have mochi and banana rolls to nibble over the weekend. Shame on me.
Must go to the market tomorrow; need to check whether prices are really noticeably better there than at other food shops, let alone quality. Also, need to get more vegetables. Am okay for frozen meat, but am running low on fresh vegetables. Perhaps a courgette, to go with some chicken and oyster sauce.
BTW, arcangel, thank you again for that iPod. It makes work at the moment much, much more tolerable. (I'm not the only one sitting at a desk with headphones on, either. Oh no.)
