did it all earlier
Apr. 30th, 2005 02:11 amAfer so much writing during the day, there seems little left to say in the evening. I've got plane tickets for Guernsey, 19/5 - 21/5, and since I already got qualified approval from my boss to take some leave "somewhere in May" assuming it wouldn't leave my post unmanned, I think I'm covered on that front.
Parcel due to arrive tomorrow morning. Must try to make sure I wake up when it does.
Improved supper (oven-baked frozen cheese-and-tomato pizza) by opening a can of tuna and adding some of it to the top after removing pizza from the oven. Must remember that trick. It worked rather well.
Must also do shopping tomorrow.
Redlines for latest Exalted project mostly sorted. Have saved the worst bit (adding new statistics) for last. Oh well. Something to do over the weekend. Can then get back to more creative stuff.
Hope Kung Fu Hustle gets to the UK soon.

By the time of Emperor Tortaalik -- that is, by the time of which we have the honor to write -- the Palace had long since reached its final form, and the original building was a mere nucleus within, holding the throne room, the personal chambers of the Emperor and his family, kitchens, and a few small audience chambers. The larger Palace rose nine stories into the air, containing full courtyards at each door, a separate four-story wing (with associated minister) for each House, dozens of balconies (pillared and plain), hundreds of stairways (circular, curved, twisted, and straight), thousands of windows (round, oblong, triangular, rectangular, octagonal, and square), nine libraries (public and private), four indoor gardens and arboreta, twelve major indoor baths, sixty-five towers, twenty-seven minor domes and three major ones, and was, in the famous words of the Empress Undauntra I, "the most bleeding indefensible structure it has ever been my duty to occupy."
