So, let's see . . . off to Guernsey tomorrow, probably without internet access till Sunday evening, barring something unexpected. I think most things are under control. (Touch wood.)
Will not see Revenge of the Sith till some point after I get back. I will have to try to keep my poor mind innocent of such spoilers as Anakin's ultimate fate. Gosh, I can't imagine what's going to happen to him by the end of the movie. (All right, some slight sarcasm, but the basic lines of the plot are moderately clear . . .)
Things to pack. Presents. Phone. iPod. (Partly to show it to my aunt.) Books to read in long waits at airport. Clothing for changeable Guernsey weather. Receipts for plane tickets. Reminder to self to buy gache when in Guernsey in order to bring it home for my parents.

Geometry
Never a mouse
chases ever a tail,
never a mouse ever sees
that always a cat
catches always a mouse,
cats being kittens
who once chased their tails.
Toss a pebble into a stream,
never a circle catches a circle;
shoot a dawn-ball
into the sky,
never a moonbeam
catches a sun;
drop the same thought
on the floor:
Only a kitten catches a tail,
the tail being straight,
the kitten a circle.
Yet never a mouse
chases ever a tail,
never a mouse ever sees
that always some death
catches always his mouse,
deaths being kittens
who once chased their tails.
