flying by

Day not bad; incoming queries have slowed down, and I am (touch wood) more or less on top of things again. Had basic checkup at practice (well, more a case of answering questions and getting a ten-year-polio-jab I hadn't had yet) and am now all registered and whatever. Apparently it's a fairly busy practice, so I should phone early in the day if I want to arrange an appointment. I can live with that, as the evidence so far suggests it's a competent and well-run place in a decent neighborhood.

Nice peaceful evening. Had a pork stirfry with oyster sauce; had a last-minute inspiration involving some of the frozen prawns in the freezer, and was grateful that I had a microwave for a couple of minutes on defrost.

London tomorrow. I think I've got all the lists I need.

Need to check whether the latest project wants my spelling in UK English or American English. I have a feeling it's going to be American English. Ah well.
