back in Leeds
Jan. 2nd, 2007 12:50 amBack safely in Leeds. Got a train on a direct route, so no stops and changes to worry about, just the hassle of five hours straight train travel.
Not wildly looking forward to work tomorrow. Also just slightly nervous about the fact that they were going to be moving round our desks and lockers while we were off. Fingers crossed that I haven't lost everything.
Have just finished a couple of books by Lilith Saintcrow (it may be a real name, who am I to judge?) which were much better than I'd thought they would be. Interestingly developed world background, rather Shadowrun-ish. I wouldn't mind reading some more by her, though I have to admit it'd be in paperback rather than hardback.
I seem to have acquired some lengths of ribbon. Now what does one knit with ribbon.

Seduction
Weep not for little Leonie,
Abducted by a French Marquis!
Though loss of honour was a wrench,
Just think how it's improved her French.
