giving in to temptation
Sep. 5th, 2008 02:10 amGot lent Elizabeth Moon's The Deed of Paksenarrion by a friend. Had heard about it many times before, but never got round to reading it. Am thoroughly enjoying reading it now. Decent solid stuff. (Plus, well, spot the AD&D references.)
Also gave into temptation earlier this evening and cast on with the Colinette. Just starting. Not really going anywhere yet. Still working on the scheduled jobs first. But I had to see how it looked.
The weather forecast tomorrow is not promising. Must take my umbrella.

More of the ambassadors from other countries had arrived at the university, and more heads of the Guilds were pouring in, and every single one of them wanted to be involved in the decision-making process without necessarily going through the intelligence-using process first.
