unworthy amusement
Nov. 28th, 2008 09:41 amI am unworthily amused by the immediate reactions of some parts of fandom to the latest chapter of Bleach.
FANDOM : Kill someone KT kill someone please o you mite
KT : (does what looks like near-lethal (okay, they're not dead yet) damage to a character who everyone likes/thinks is tough, rather than the cute-but-scrappy or the tragically mournful or the stupid characters)
FANDOM : what no aie no no no this is a horrible dream pinch me no no you can't do this
(When you think about it, it's the same shock tactic as in the fight with the four characters (Ikkaku, Kira, Yumichika, Hisagi) defending the four pillars. Which people were we assuming would lose? And who was it who actually did lose?)
