a brief stop in Siberia
Aug. 27th, 2009 02:01 amThe weather today was thoroughly gloomy. It wasn't so much the rain (though there was rain on the way home), it was the gloom. So much for August. Feh.
Gloom was not helped by having a two-and-a-half-hour meeting in a room that had the (unadjustable) air conditioning set for "middle of heatwave" -- in other words, we were all freezing. Everyone brought in their coats or cardigans. I'm not joking.
(And yes, we would have liked to have moved to another room, but there is a severe shortage of meeting rooms, so we were stuck.)
Not really that bad a day, but. Gloomy.

But the Secret sits in the middle and knows.
