that was close

Have just been arranging a present for my mother for Mother's Day, which (over this side of the Pond) is on Sunday. Despite all the shops trying to sell me presents for it for the last few weeks, it had slipped my mind.

(Or, you know, perhaps that's why it had slipped my mind.)

Anyhow, roll on the weekend. It's been a busy week, and next week is going to be worse.
