lovely stuff

Had a fantastic day.

Got up way too early, but made it to the church train on time. (I'm getting married in the morning, ding dong the bells are going to chime . . . sorry, was watching My Fair Lady a few nights ago.) Made my connections and got safely to Malvern and the quilt show. It was heavily cloudy and damp, but fortunately not actually raining at that point.

Saw many beautiful exhibited quilts.

Bought a fair amount of stuff, some of which was planned for future work, but a lot of "because it was there".

Hauled bag/s of stuff home. (In defense, a 3m roll of 90-inch cotton wadding takes up a bag on its own, however hard you try to squish it down.)

Got home safely.

Tomorrow there will be sleeping in.
