Oct. 20th, 2012 01:12 amWeekend. Good. Everyone at work agrees this week has been long and busy, even in the absence of our team leader, which has contributed to a certain -- well, not laxity, but it does make it easier to focus on long and complicated work jobs when one does not have to worry about being called to do other things at short notice. I realise this is a part of standard work life. Sometimes standard work life is annoying.
There's a crafts show tomorrow here in Leeds (well, technically Friday-Sunday, but tomorrow is the day I will go) at the Royal Armouries, which is very conveniently only about fifteen minutes walk from where I live. I believe it's at the Saviles Hall there, a location which in recent retrospect is about as badly named as the Alferd Packer Memorial Grill. (I believe it's going to be renamed, in any case.)
---
Sherlock Holmes: Look at them. They all care so much. Do you ever wonder if there's something wrong with us?
Mycroft Holmes: All lives end. All hearts are broken. Caring is not an advantage, Sherlock.
