more pins needed
Jan. 20th, 2014 02:01 amHm. Working with lawn (the fabric, that is, not the grass outside, not that I have a lawn outside in any case) is more difficult than I had thought. Lovely lightweight stuff, very gorgeous, but very easy for it to shift. More pins are necessary. The end result is pretty, though. (Quilt for coworker's grandchild in progress: I'm backing it with plain white cotton to make it a bit more stable.)
In terms of sheer page count, about 1/8 of the way through book 2 rewrites. On the other hand, this is the easier chunk of the book where I don't think I need any major changes. Let's hope the momentum keeps me going at this rate.
Ended up not watching the new Musketeers series after all. Still, I'm sure it will be shown again this week before episode 2 comes up, and I'll see what people elsewhere have to say about it.

Rochefort: If you were a gentleman, I would speak to you. I was speaking *at* you, sir.
-- line from the 1973 The Three Musketeers movie, delivered splendidly by Christopher Lee
