May. 1st, 2016 02:20 amThe weather appears to be set firmly on "sunny with showers". The sun is appreciated, but a little more precision would make it easier to decide what to wear. So would a higher temperature. We're still at a few degrees colder than one normally expects for April. The clothing shops, being as usual several months ahead of the game, are displaying tshirts and beachwear and similar clothing. I laugh. I laugh bitterly.
Finished a chapter of book 4, and feeling temporarily pleased with myself. Then I remember that I've just closed it on the brink of a shootout and will have to write an action scene next chapter. Drat. That's what I get for ending chapters on a dramatic note.
Things to do tomorrow: clean bathroom, finish compiling proof-reading notes, cut fabric for new quilt, be lazy. Well, be lazy somewhere in the gaps between everything else.
