the irritation continues
Jul. 9th, 2016 01:48 amI really should have inspected my fridge/freezer, and pulled it out to see how it was connected. It is apparently wired into the wall. Which meant that when the guys came with the new model today, they couldn't remove the old one and take it away, as they're not allowed to meddle with my wiring. (True enough. It was in the contract. And I can see why.)
Which means I need to get an electrician out to come and disconnect my current model safely, before I can get the new model delivered and the old one taken away.
Apparently I am far from the only person who has this happen (that is, has the delivery guys come round and then they find the fridge/freezer is wired in and need professional removal).
And since they turned up rather late today (it was a 1-5pm delivery slot, and they turned up at approximately 4.45pm), I wasn't able to book an electrician after they'd gone.
Something to do tomorrow morning.
Probably a good thing that I can't play Pokemon Go at the moment. I'd be wanting to slaughter them rather than capture them.
